countess of monte cristo

their lips met...
they had all to be homecoming queen and king... only they were too dark for that.
she had piercing green eyes... her hair fall down her shoulders, black as the night sky... his eyes were deep and mysterious, so blue you could drown yourself on them... his hair was dark as his soul... darker.
he was fire... she was flame.
they could burn it all... one touch...
one night, she just left... no word... no sign...
that night... the remains of his soul... died.

she wakes up, not knowing were she was... slowly she opens her eyes... where was she? looking around without standing, she remains on the ground, the warm leaves stroking her cheek. nothing. there was nothing there for her. sitting with her feet under her, she runs her hand through her hair... her blood freezes... where was her ring... she could see the mark on her finger, her white creamy skin showing that mark... she starts to cry... her heart was hurting so bad she had the feeling it was bleeding... rubbingher chest she checks her hand... no blood... just pain...

he runs to the only place he can think of... the only place she might be... bursting through the trees and stones and leaves, he walks in the Sanctuary... stopping right in the middle... no sign of her... he kneels on the floor, her ring hanging on a silver thread... hitting his white skin, the blackness of the ring was big... he didn't understand what was happening... why was she gone... why? he couldn't breath without her... he looks up... it was still raining... it was raining since the day she was gone... he knew it... he knew it was her smile that brighten the days around there... without it... the rain was back... to stay... he lets out a roar that shakes the trees and makes the stones tumble...

so hard keeping her composure... she walks mindlessly... rain pouring... she hears something. her heart stops, closing her eyes. without thinking she turns and runs, only to find herself in his arms. gasping for air, the tears cloud her vision. only the familiar warmth and his voice could calme her. somehow she felt like she should apologize... he was different... they lock eyes... he was empty. it was him, but he wasn't there anymore. she steps back...

i've come for you, he says.
